I started watching this anime after I got interested in the manga. I started ordering the manga for "the collection" and got interested in reading it. The anime is really awesome! Princess Mina has this amazing habit of ripping off all her clothes and running around naked or nearly naked. The series is a pedophiles dream, but the story line is actually quite good in spite of that fact. The end result of all this nakedness is a barely contained strong rated R feel to the series. The manga are just hampered by the medium or they would have the same sense of ["Gulp" I can't believe that was just shown in an anime]. Hey I'm a grown up I can deal with it. In fact I've heard so much about taboo anime I think I'll watch a few other titles that have a "Gulp" factor. The first two that jump to mind is Chobits and Please Teacher. Maybe they actually have a good story line to go with the "Gulp factor".

Hunger Games

The Hunger Games Movie is coming out March 24th. The generic un-named place where I work is having a party to celebrate the Movie! So we get to have some fun! I'm planning a series of games to torture people with so we can work up to a grand prize. Help me out with ideas for a grand prize and games. I'm thinking an advanced copy of the DVD when it comes out? What say you?

When the police discover Laon naked and hungry in the street, they aren't quite sure what to make of the odd little boy-how could they know that he is actually a nine-tailed fox . . . or at least he would be if he hadn't lost his tails in a bet. I started reading this series. It is beautifully illustrated, that is the first thing that drew me to the series. It's just fantastic, the art depiction of characters and the slow rich pace of the story is still the biggest appeal for me. I've read up to number 4 or 5 at this point. The water God is a small pretty child during the day and at night he is a gorgeous young man, all the better for Soah. There is a sweet innocent romance blooming between Soah and Habaek, even though she still believes he is a child.
